Queen Anne
This active neighborhood sits on the highest named hill in the city and offers the ideal blend of community and urban living. The hill became a popular spot for the city’s early economic and cultural elite to build their mansions, and the name derives from the architectural style typical of many of the hill’s early homes. Sited just north of downtown the hill boasts some of the best views in the city of downtown, the Space Needle and Elliott Bay. Home to some of Seattle’s unique shops and restaurants Queen Anne offers some of Seattle’s finest view homes on its South Slope as well as more moderate homes with historic charm. Queen Anne is also known for its eclectic mix of condominiums. From the two historic schools converted into unique residences to new concrete an steel buildings, Queen Anne offers a little bit of everything for the Urban dweller.
